Knysna is a coastal city and in most restaurants fresh fish and seafood is offered. Ask the waiter/waitress of the "Catch of the Day" or "Line Fish". Knysna is also famous for its wild and cultivated oysters.

Ile de Pain means "Island of the Bread". The bread is baked here in the wood fired oven and the bakery offers breakfast and lunch. The meals are all lovingly prepared with fresh ingredients and are a real culinary treat.
