Treetop Canopy Tours
The Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour is a unique eco-wilderness adventure in the Tsitsikamma forest. The canopy tour involves traversing the forest from one platform to another on a steel cable at a height of up to 30 meters above the forest floor. Most of the platforms are located in giant Outeniqua Yellowwood trees.
Yellowwood trees (yellow wood trees) are the national tree of South Africa and in the area of the Garden Route are among the so-called "Big Trees" a variety of up to 1,000-year-old yellowwood trees to admire.
