Knysna is a vibrant small town and can be explored on foot. There a historical walk through Knysna as well as lots of shops, restaurants, boutiques, arts and craft, art galleries and so much more.

Woodmill Lane Centre
Take some time to visit Woodmill Lane Shopping Centre. The Woodmill Lane opended in December 1990 on the historical site of Knysna's Sawmill and Timber Factory that was here since 1919. Enjoy great meals in one of the coffee shops or restaurants, whilst watching the water fountains. Sometimes there is live music at the pavillon in the center of the open air pedetrian area. Woodmill Lane still houses some of the original saw-mill machinery which is on display through out the centre. The Center houses 75 shops with boutiques, restaurants, arts & crafts, galleries and a Pick'n Pay Supermarket.

West of Woodmill Lane Center you will find the new Knysna Mall with more than 60 upmarket stores, restaurants, outlets and the Superspar Supermarket.
